About the Role: 

As a QA/QC Intern, you will be an integral part of our quality assurance team, collaborating closely with software engineers to ensure that the products we deliver meet the highest standards. Under the mentorship of a Senior QA Engineer, you will learn the ins and outs of quality assurance and control processes, gaining valuable experience that will set you up for a successful career in tech.

What You’ll Bring to the Table: 

• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not mandatory. We value talent, passion, and eagerness to learn. 
• Holding related certifications in QA or software development is a plus, but not a requirement. 
• A solid understanding of software development processes and lifecycles is essential. 
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes is crucial for success in this role. 
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills that allow you to spot issues and provide solutions effectively. 
• A willingness to learn new technologies and apply them in real-world scenarios. 
• Flexibility to work outside traditional hours if needed, demonstrating commitment and adaptability. 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are important for collaborating with team members and documenting work clearly. 
• Attention to detail and accuracy are key traits for maintaining the high-quality standards we strive for. 
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git is highly desirable. 

Your Responsibilities: As a QA/QC Intern, your day-to-day responsibilities will include: 

• Understanding Project Requirements: You will work closely with the development and engineering teams to ensure a clear understanding of project goals and requirements, helping you to anticipate potential issues. 
• Documentation Management: Assist in maintaining thorough documentation of QA processes, test cases, and project specifics. 
• Planning and Coordinating Testing Activities: Estimate, prioritize, plan, and execute quality testing activities, ensuring efficient workflows and timely delivery. 
• Test Plan Creation: Develop comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases to ensure thorough coverage of all scenarios. 
• Automation Scripting: Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools, streamlining the testing process. 
• Collaborating on Improvements: Work alongside senior engineers to suggest and implement improvements in existing systems and processes. 
• Project Involvement: Be involved in multiple ongoing projects, both new and existing, contributing to their success by ensuring quality standards are met.
