Role and Responsibilities: 

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at SoftNEP, you will: 

• Develop comprehensive and well-structured test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software quality. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to understand project requirements and design effective testing strategies. 
• Execute both manual and automated tests to identify and report defects, ensuring robust functionality and performance of our software. 
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, driving efficiency and accuracy.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues, collaborating with teams to identify root causes and propose solutions. 
• Contribute to the enhancement of our QA processes and standards, promoting a culture of quality throughout the organization. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or any IT related field. 
• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role, demonstrating a track record of successful software testing and defect identification. 
• Solid understanding of software development life cycles, testing methodologies, and best practices. 
• Proficiency in using testing tools and frameworks, both manual and automated. 
• Experience with performance and/or security testing will be a plus. 
• Good knowledge in Git version control system. 
• Working knowledge of Laravel and React. 
• Solid knowledge of SQL queries (MySQL). 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail. 
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
